Wally Goes To Broadway

In the city of Chimichanga, everybody keeps to themselves. However one precocious whale sets out on a mission to brighten the day of his fellow Chimichangans. Wally the Norwhale hists Broadway.

Wally was destined for show business when he was born. His father starred in "Free Willy" and his mother taught schools of fish how to properly sing. In Chimchanga, the Norwhales were outcasts. Everybody in Chimichanga believed in doing their job and keeping themselves. The Norwhales however, oozed with vibrance everytime they took their underwater breaths. When Wally attended aqua nursery as a youngster he was thrown out of class many times for talking and singing. His mother knew his talents couldn't be contained, so she decided to home school Wally. Wally studied and trained intensely under his mother's watchful eye. He performed in many talent shows and won many prizes. His talent became so well nurtured that he began to intimidate the other contestants. Chimichanga began banning Wally from contests. Wally was a good natured whale and this hurt him deeply. His father told him not to discouraged. He told him to shoot for the stars. Wally took his father's advice and contemplative his next big move. One day the idea hit him, Wally would go to Broadway!! His parents fully supported him and gave him permission to move to the Hudson River District. Wally had nothing with him except his talent and his dreams.

The sun shined through the ocean with the grace designed for the sea. Wally hummed as he swam through the ocean. All Wally could think about was life on Broadway.

Companion Poem

MOS DEF
Yo, in she came with the same type game
the type of girl givin out the fake cell phone and name
Big fame, she like cats with big thangs,
Jewel chip, money clip, phone flip, the six range
I seen her on ave, spotted her more than once
Back so fat that you can see it from,
She spot me like paparazzi; shot me a glance
in the cat woman stance with da real nice pants

MY ORIGINAL POEM
She has me gone by the way she moves
Floatin cross da room, tryin not to be rude
But she cant help it, its a blessin and a curse
Eyes of an angel wearin da devils purse
And of course its Prada
Ask if she has heart, guarantee she says nada
Fiery girl in a dark room shone bright
Somethin hit me inside, i knew it wasn't right
But if its wrong, I dont wana be da opposite of left
If I fall, she pushed me from da steps
She's twisted, Im trippin, addicted to her sickness
Beauty is her downfall, But leme lift it
